Finish your Mat.Certification. Do not start over.

A Recognition of Prior Learning pathway for students displaced by the closure of Breathe Education. The work you have already done comes with you.

Before you enrol, download your records

Log into your old student portal and save everything you can. Transcripts, assessment records, hours logs, feedback documents, and screenshots of your progress.

Portal access disappears quickly in these situations, and once it is gone it is gone. That evidence is what lets us recognise your apprentice hours.

  • Your final practical assessment, marked by a TME educator
  • Written feedback on your submission
  • One free resubmission
  • Your Mat.Certification on completion

What you complete with us

Every online module in the portal for Mat. All of them, not a selection. These carry your foundational theory hours and the assessment that goes with them, and the certification cannot be issued without them.

Then your filmed final assessment package, in two parts:

  • A written session plan in the TME format
  • A filmed live session with four participants, one with a stated injury and one working a role played pregnancy scenario

You have six months from enrolment to submit. Further resubmissions beyond your first free one are $50, which covers educator marking time.

One honest note

Some students are enrolled in a nationally recognised qualification. Train Me Education is not a registered training organisation, so we cannot complete or credit toward that specific qualification, and we will not tell you otherwise.

What we can tell you is this. There is no legal requirement in Australia to hold a nationally recognised qualification to teach Pilates. What actually gates you working is insurance and whether a studio will hire you. TME certification meets AUSactive requirements, so our graduates register with AUSactive and get insured through the same pathway every working trainer uses.

If holding the nationally recognised qualification specifically matters to you, email us before you enrol. We will point you to where your records go and who can pick up your enrolment. You get a straight answer either way.

Questions we get asked

Not sure whether the Mat pathway is the right fit, or where your hours sit? Email hello@trainmeeducation.com.au before you enrol and we will help you work it out.
